Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my drive, determination, and my desire to demonstrate that women are just as capable as men. My career path was not entirely traditional; I entered the field through opportunity and hard work rather than a linear educational route, and I have continued to build on that foundation through persistence and dedication.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to not be afraid to ask for help and to seek guidance when needed. I’ve also learned the importance of staying determined and not allowing obstacles to hold me back. I apply this mindset in my daily life by staying proactive, figuring things out as they come, and consistently pushing through challenges.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to not be discouraged and to be willing to step outside of their comfort zone, even in male-dominated environments. While challenges and criticism may arise, it is important to stay focused and continue moving forward. I believe women can prove themselves through hard work, confidence, and persistence, and those qualities will help them succeed and grow in their careers.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field include the limited representation of women, particularly in leadership and technical roles. However, I also see this as a significant opportunity to break barriers and help create more inclusive spaces for future generations. At the same time, the field is evolving rapidly, offering new areas for growth and exploration, including emerging interests such as aerospace.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important value to me is integrity, which I consider essential in both my personal and professional life.
