Courtney Senior is a dynamic leader in brand management, business strategy, and corporate partnerships, currently serving as Director of Partnerships at ASA Entertainment. With a career rooted in sports and business, she has developing meaningful relationships that drive growth, visibility, and community engagement. At ASA Entertainment, Courtney leads initiatives that bring together global brands and high-profile events like the Super Girl Surf Festival, where she manages sponsor relations and on-site activations that celebrate athleticism and women empowerment.

Before joining ASA Entertainment, Courtney spent a decade with USSSA, where she advanced through multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Brand Management and Business Strategy and Assistant General Manager. During her tenure, she oversaw major national programs, elevated brand identity, and forged impactful partnerships that supported the organization’s long-term success. Her experience also includes a role as Corporate Partnerships Manager for the Tampa Bay Rays, where she worked to align corporate goals with sports marketing opportunities to deliver value for both partners and fans.

A graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in General Social Science, Courtney brings both strategic insight and creative energy to every project she undertakes. A former professional athlete and coach, she blends her competitive spirit with a passion for teamwork, innovation, and authentic connection. Whether building corporate strategies or leading large-scale events, Courtney’s work reflects her belief in collaboration, growth, and the power of sport to unite and inspire communities.

What do you attribute your success to?

My success is deeply rooted in the mentors who shaped my journey—My husband and family, Mike White, Don Dedonatis Sr., and Debbie Nelson—each of whom taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, perseverance, and purpose. The discipline and determination to embrace the process of continual self-evaluation and growth that I developed as a professional athlete continue to fuel my passion for leadership, innovation, and development in every role I take on, from the Tampa Bay Rays to ASA Entertainment.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have received is opportunity surrounds us. Whether positive or negative will directly correlate to the surroundings you choose. Approach life with gratitude and generosity, the universe responds in kind.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Always be willing to say yes to opportunities, even when you don’t yet have all the answers. Bring energy and dedication to your work, remain genuinely curious, and learn from those who have walked the path before you. At the same time, have the courage to set and honor your own boundaries—growth thrives where ambition meets self-respect.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The women’s sports industry is flourishing, propelled by the remarkable contributions of individuals making an impact across diverse platforms. Yet, challenges remain—particularly in securing visibility and support necessary to create meaningful opportunities. Many are making positive strides that we can continue to celebrate, empowering the next generation to build thriving, impactful, and sustainable careers.

The dedication to personal and professional growth through both successes and setbacks, striving to find balance in the pursuits that matter most and to uplift those around me. In my personal time, I enjoy cooking, staying active, and spending time at the beach.
