About Courtney
Courtney Swanson serves as a principal instructional designer for informational content at Oracle. In this role, she supports the creation of instructional and learning materials and enablement for Oracle product users and internal users, with a focus on turning complex technical information into accessible content. She has held three different positions at the company over the past two years in the analytics and AI service excellence team, managing video content creation programs and developing learning modules while incorporating AI workflows. Swanson began her career in instructional design in 2012 after working with K-12 schools and earning a master's degree. She transitioned into the tech industry through EdTech before joining Oracle, where she excels at creating scalable solutions from ambiguous requirements. As a military spouse, she participates in Maven, Oracle's military and affiliated veterans employee network, conducting resume reviews to help veterans translate their military experience into civilian workforce opportunities. She is also involved in her local Catholic school network supporting religious charities.
