Coventina Waterhawk is a holistic health practitioner, motivational speaker, and recovery advocate based in the El Paso Metropolitan Area, dedicated to empowering individuals with co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders to achieve lasting recovery without shame or stigma. With more than two decades of professional experience in holistic healing—and nearly four decades of personal recovery—she brings both lived experience and professional insight to her work. As a Reiki Master Teacher, intuitive guide, and empowerment coach, Coventina integrates energy healing, tarot, and personalized wellness planning to support clients on their healing journeys.

Her career began in 2001 following a transformative experience in a tarot reading class, where she discovered her intuitive abilities. She later became a certified Reiki practitioner in 2006 and advanced to Master Teacher level in 2023. Over the years, she developed her signature “R&R” approach, combining Reiki and intuitive readings into comprehensive coaching sessions designed to foster resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth. In addition to her one-on-one work, she has taught holistic coping strategies in dual-diagnosis intensive outpatient programs and continues to guide individuals through mental health and addiction recovery using integrative, compassionate methods.

Coventina is also a multi-award-winning, bestselling author, most notably for her book Dually Diagnosed, Dually Blessed: From Struggle to Purpose, which achieved top rankings across multiple categories upon release. A recognized Hope Ambassador, she actively partners with suicide prevention initiatives and hosts speaking engagements across the country to raise awareness and inspire transformation. Through her upcoming “Hope and Healing Circle” program and ongoing advocacy, Coventina remains committed to sharing her message that recovery is possible and that healing, resilience, and purpose are within reach for everyone.
