Cristal Johnson

She is a dedicated educator and department leader with over a decade of experience in career and technical education, currently serving as CTE Teacher and Department Chair at Spring ISD, where she leads STEAM, Engineering, and Robotics programs. In this role, she develops and delivers innovative curricula that prepare students for future careers in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Prior to her teaching career, she spent over 15 years in the property management industry in progressive leasing and leadership roles, including Leasing Manager at American Campus Communities and Leasing Consultant at CWS Apartment Homes. She also gained early engineering experience as an intern at Motorola. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University and is a Texas Certified Teacher in Technical Education. She is recognized as a passionate, student-centered educator and leader who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
