Cristal Moreno-Palacios

Cristal Moreno-Palacios is the Talent Coordinator and HR Receptionist at Better Being Co., a supplement and beauty company headquartered in Ogden, Utah. Occupying a dual role within the organization, she operates as both the welcoming first point of contact for the company and a key connector between prospective employees and the business's broader mission. This blended position gives her a distinctive vantage point: on one side, she oversees the rhythm of front-office operations and interpersonal communication; on the other, she works to identify strong candidates and nurture their potential within the organization.

With close to five years of experience in the human resources field, Cristal's day-to-day responsibilities span coordinating interview schedules for candidates and hiring managers alike, assisting with recruitment efforts, and fielding payroll-related questions from staff. Prior to her current position, she gained additional HR exposure through several years working alongside the team at Spherion, first as an Office Coordinator and Recruitment Specialist and later as a Business Development Specialist. Fluent in Spanish, she frequently steps in as a translator for the company's CEO during Round Table sessions designed to gather feedback from Spanish-speaking employees, reinforcing her role as a bridge between leadership and staff.

A high school graduate who went on to attend Weber State University for two semesters, Cristal also holds an RBT license and a CPR/First Aid certification. She has expressed a long-term goal of returning to school to pursue a degree in human resources, with aspirations of eventually applying her HR expertise within the ABA field to help ensure compliant, supportive workplaces for both employees and clients. Outside of her professional life, she practices yoga and enjoys caring for her chihuahua, whose grooming and styling she documents on a dedicated Instagram page.
