About Cristi

Cristi Heath serves as a Hope Ambassador for the state of Oklahoma within the Department of Human Services Division. In this role, she acts as a recognized content expert on the Science of Hope, partners with leadership to identify strategic priorities for organizational change, and delivers training, workshops, and coaching using licensed curriculum. With nearly 24 years of experience in human services, Cristi previously worked for 19 years in child welfare, including 16 years as a supervisor, and spent about a year as a field manager for the centralized TANF unit in the Adult Family Service Division. She earned a Bachelor in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Sociology and Substance from the University of Central Oklahoma. As a Native American professional, Cristi received the 2022 Champion for Native Children Award from the National Indian Child Welfare Association and represents her agency in National Hope Ambassador meetings. Her work emphasizes trauma-informed approaches and supporting children in the welfare system.
