Crystal Marr

She is a distinguished behavioral health and substance use disorders leader with over a decade of experience in program development, clinical supervision, and integrated care, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Substance Use Disorders at Sun River Health, where she provides leadership to nurses, peers, and staff across the Hudson Valley, NYC, and Long Island, overseeing services for over 2,100 clients receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) within primary care. She developed a contingency management program yielding above 90% client retention rate and has served as MAT Program Director and MAT Manager. She also serves as a Consultant for the Opioid Response Network, developing professional training and technical assistance on opioids, substance use, and integrated approaches. Her career includes serving as Lifestyle Medicine Coordinator and Behavioral Health Psychotherapist and as Senior Social Worker. She holds certificates in Geriatric Mental Illness and Populations at Risk and Excellence in Nonprofit Management from Adelphi University. She is recognized as a compassionate, strategic, and equity-driven leader who is deeply committed to expanding access to substance use treatment, reducing stigma, and improving health outcomes for underserved populations.
