About Crystal
I am a product developer and inventor in the medical field. I redesigned the blood draw tourniquet to be latex-free, and we are launching this new medical device into hospitals across the country. This has been a long journey from getting the patent to now. I have been working in the medical field for 30 years. I also started a business around 2008 that was very lucrative and helped others with licensing, leading to 6 locations. I am a book author who has written two books and am working on a third called World Class Wife.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would contribute my success to my mother.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell her to do not flit, not stop, no matter what obstacles that are in your way. Keep it. Move it. Keep going.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is the economy right now. Need more support from people around you, and monetary support. Finding investors was a challenge.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Communication. Relationships. Good relationships. Good, healthy relationships, long-lasting.
