01What do you attribute your success to?
Perseverance and believing in God. I have persevered through a lot, and God has gotten me through a lot more than I realize. As long as I keep my faith, I feel like I can accomplish and push anything.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't let your feelings get in the way. We have a lot of rejection in our industry because people don't want to think about it. If you let your feelings get in the way, you're gonna sabotage yourself right off the bat.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't take it for granted. A lot of people don't think that they can do this type of thing. There are some that can't, because it is a tough industry to get into, but it doesn't mean that you won't be able to. Give it a chance. Don't automatically count it out. Because you never know. You might just... boosts your career like No Tomorrow.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges are mostly outside the industry, like finding people that are willing to keep an open mind and want to have a better life for their families. Opportunities include educating the community about life insurance products with living benefits that can be used while still alive, not just after death.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Caring and having the will to want to help others. I live by the Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated. Having the ability to work with others, be honest, and have fun together as a family in the office.
