Her Interview

Ten minutes with Crystal

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith and the strength it gives me to move forward with confidence. It has helped me approach challenges without fear and face opportunities with courage, resilience, and purpose.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to document and advocate for myself. I’ve learned the importance of building my own record of accomplishments, growth, and contributions rather than assuming my manager or senior manager will always see or remember the impact I’ve made. Career growth and development is our own responsibility.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to focus on growth-oriented goals and embrace the journey rather than becoming overly focused on a specific title or destination. True fulfillment comes from continuously developing skills, building meaningful relationships, and finding people who support and challenge your growth.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field is learning how to adapt and grow alongside AI. Instead of resisting change, I believe we should elevate our technical abilities, strengthen our soft skills, and continuously develop the next set of skills that will help us remain valuable and innovative.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is a non-negotiable value for me. I believe in doing what I say, being authentic in my actions, and staying true to my principles without compromising who I am for the sake of success.
