Cynthia Celso
Cynthia Celso is an accomplished entrepreneur and former dental professional who has built a successful career connecting communities and supporting small businesses. After more than 30 years as a dental hygienist, including leadership and clinical roles, Cynthia made a deliberate mid-career transition to join The N2 Company, where she now serves as Area Director and Publisher of Stroll Topsfield, the first Stroll publication on Boston’s North Shore. Her experience in patient care and team leadership translated seamlessly into publishing, sales, and community engagement.
At Stroll Topsfield, Cynthia focuses on producing a high-gloss monthly magazine that pairs print with digital branding and free community events. She is dedicated to strengthening local connections, helping small businesses reach ideal clients, and fostering word-of-mouth visibility. She leads a team of photographers, writers, and ad managers, balancing editorial planning, sales meetings, and community-focused initiatives with a focus on compassion, service, and trust-building.
Cynthia’s career is defined by adaptability, service, and leadership. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the tenacity and people skills I developed over decades as a dental hygienist, my leadership experience, a willingness to take a leap of faith, and the unwavering support of my family.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be bold and seize opportunities early—ask yourself, "What am I about to lose?" and just go for it.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field are earning trust and fitting the cultural vibe of tight-knit, affluent communities while helping small businesses adapt post-COVID, and the opportunities lie in the niche model of private luxury magazines paired with digital ads and events, as well as philanthropic impact through N2Gives and scaling digital products across regions.
