Cynthia Fuller

Cynthia Fuller is the Head of School at Holy Nativity Episcopal School (HNES) in Panama City, Florida, where she leads with vision, resilience, and a heart for service. Since assuming the role in 2020—just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic—Cynthia has guided the school through extraordinary challenges, including a swift pivot to remote learning and continued recovery from Hurricane Michael. Under her leadership, HNES successfully completed its five-year reaccreditation and was named Best Private School in Florida by Guide to Florida in both 2023 and 2024. The school, which serves nearly 300 students from preschool through eighth grade, has experienced tremendous growth and momentum, recently breaking ground on a new STREAM building to further enrich its academic offerings.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida (Magna Cum Laude) with a minor in Political Science and PreLaw. She also holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education. She is a graduate of the Bay County Chamber’s Leadership Bay Program and serves the community as Vice Chairwoman of the Bay County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Her dedication to student well-being and community outreach has earned her multiple recognitions, including two "Women of Distinction in Educational Leadership" honors from Nationwide Registries. A frequent speaker at educational conferences, Cynthia is also a certified FCIS Visiting Chairperson, contributing to the quality and growth of independent schools across the state.
Beyond her professional achievements, Cynthia is deeply connected to her community and passionate about education’s role in shaping future generations. She is active in veteran support efforts through the Bay County Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee and remains committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. Known for her integrity, leadership, and compassion, Cynthia’s work continues to inspire students, families, and educators alike.

Approach each task methodically and focus on making progress gradually. Prioritize actions that align with your values and comfort level, ensuring that each step you take is one you can genuinely accept and incorporate into your life. This way, you will build a sustainable path toward your goals while maintaining your well-being.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to embrace their inner strength and maintain unwavering faith in their abilities. It’s crucial to hold on to your dreams and persevere through challenges, for resilience and self-belief can open doors to countless opportunities. Never underestimate the power of determination; keep pushing forward, and you will shine.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Caring for others is a vital part of my life, but I also recognize the importance of balancing my own needs and those of my family. I find fulfillment in offering a compassionate ear to those in need, creating a safe space for them to share their thoughts and emotions. Whenever possible, I seek to lend a helping hand, whether through small gestures or meaningful support, as I believe that fostering connections and nurturing relationships enriches both my life and the lives of those around me.
