I've been in the talent acquisition field for around 15 years, starting my recruiting career back in college. Throughout my journey, I've worked at both agencies and big corporates, and I even took the entrepreneurial leap by starting my own staffing company, which I ran for 2 years before it shut down. About 6 years ago, I joined TikTok, where I currently lead the talent acquisition function for TikTok USCS. In my role, I handle everything related to talent acquisition, including talent systems, talent platforms, processes, and tools. My most notable professional achievement has been building the TikTok global product and technology team from the ground up. We entered into a few new countries and built something really from scratch for the global TikTok technology products. What really drives and motivates me to stay in this field is my love for working with people and helping them out. It gives me a strong sense of fulfillment when I extend job offers, help companies find great talent, and make those connections. The ability to really help people out is what keeps me passionate about this work.
