Dagmar Eva Kusiak
Dagmar Kusiak is a relationship and life coach dedicated to helping high-achieving professionals build meaningful, emotionally healthy connections. As the founder of InsidesMatch, she focuses on guiding individuals toward emotional availability, starting with self-awareness and inner healing. Her approach is rooted in lived experience, emphasizing authenticity and personal responsibility as the foundation for lasting relationships. With a background in instructional design from University of Houston-Clear Lake, she combines structured learning strategies with deep emotional insight to support her clients’ growth.
Kusiak’s journey into coaching was shaped by personal challenges, including a painful broken engagement that led her to question her patterns in relationships. This turning point prompted years of therapy and participation in recovery programs addressing anorexia and codependency, ultimately transforming her understanding of love, boundaries, and self-worth. Through this process, she developed a practical framework centered on building emotional safety, identifying unhealthy patterns, and choosing connection over chaos. Her work reflects a commitment to helping others avoid the same struggles by equipping them with the tools to form secure and fulfilling relationships.
Beyond one-on-one coaching, Kusiak is also an author and podcast host, sharing her insights with a broader audience through her “Becoming Emotionally Available” platform. She has been featured in publications such as Beverly Hills Magazine, Tiny Buddha, and Women’s Insider, where her perspectives on personal growth and relationships have reached a wide readership. Through her content and coaching, she continues to inspire individuals to unlearn limiting beliefs, embrace vulnerability, and build love from the inside out.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to doing the deep, often painful work of self-examination and transformation. After my 2014 breakup, I stepped back from my family and inner circle to focus on understanding who I am outside of relationships. Through therapy, recovery programs, and intense self-reflection, I asked myself the hard questions—why I kept choosing certain partners, what beliefs about myself were holding me back—and worked daily to change my behaviors.
Guided by clarity, conviction, and commitment, I invested in the tools and support I needed, knowing that growth comes from consistent effort, not quick fixes. Today, I continue to reflect, set healthy boundaries, and revisit old challenges from a new, empowered perspective—witnessing firsthand the transformation that comes from doing the work.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, one of the biggest challenges in my field is the impact of social-media-driven comparison, which can make it harder for people to trust themselves in relationships. There’s also a lack of clear public language around emotional availability, and competition within the coaching space can sometimes trigger self-doubt. At the same time, there are exciting opportunities to scale virtually, develop curriculum-based relationship education—especially for college students—and make practical relationship skills more accessible to a broader audience.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are clarity, conviction, and commitment, alongside vulnerability, self-love, and maintaining healthy boundaries. These principles shape how I show up for others, make decisions, and continue to grow personally and professionally.
