About Daisy

Daisy Nadolski is a licensed health insurance broker based in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in health, Medicare, life insurance, and group coverage solutions. As an independent broker with HealthMarkets, Inc., she helps individuals, families, retirees, and small businesses navigate the often-complex world of insurance by providing personalized guidance and coverage options tailored to their unique needs and budgets. With a client-centered approach, Daisy is dedicated to educating consumers about their choices, helping them understand potential financial risks, and empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions.

Before entering the insurance industry, Daisy built a successful career in the airline sector, serving in a variety of customer service, reservations, testing, and social media roles with American Airlines and US Airways. Her extensive experience working directly with customers strengthened her communication skills and reinforced her commitment to helping people solve important life challenges. She later transitioned into health insurance, where she found a meaningful opportunity to combine her passion for service with her desire to educate and support others during critical life transitions.

Daisy's commitment to the insurance profession is deeply personal. After witnessing her father's long struggle following a stroke in 2008 and the financial and caregiving challenges her family faced, she became passionate about helping others prepare for the unexpected. This experience continues to shape her philosophy of educating clients about the importance of health coverage and long-term financial protection. A graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude, Daisy is also active in professional networking and mentorship initiatives, including supporting emerging professionals through leadership and mentoring programs. Her dedication to service, education, and advocacy has earned her recognition within her organization, including being honored among top-performing agents in a 2024 company sales competition.

Ten minutes with Daisy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to what I'm doing now, which is my most notable achievement. When my father had a stroke back in 2008, he was bedridden for 8 years before he passed away, and it was really hard for the family to figure out care and expenses. That was an awakening for me. Now I'm in this role and my passion is to teach people that even though you're healthy now, you don't know what the next 24 hours or next 50 years will bring. It's all really just educating people. I'm passionate about it because I've seen my own family go through it, and it's hard. I also went to Arizona State for my bachelor's degree and studied business there, and also computer science. I thought I was going to pursue the computer side, but when you're involved with computers, you're not connecting with people, and it turned out that wasn't meant for me. I'm more meant to connect with people.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can build a successful and rewarding career by helping others. That perspective has guided my professional journey and reinforced the importance of creating value, building strong relationships, and supporting those around me. A recent highlight that reflects this mindset was winning a trip to Italy through my company’s 2024 sales contest, an achievement that recognized my dedication, customer-focused approach, and commitment to excellence.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that you can build a fulfilling and rewarding career by helping others. Stay focused on making a positive impact and ensuring that people’s health and well-being remain a top priority. By leading with compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to serving others, you can create meaningful change while achieving both personal and professional success.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Having been in my current role for the past five years after transitioning from the airline industry, one of the biggest challenges has been adapting to the constantly evolving healthcare landscape and the changing needs of members. At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity to improve the customer experience, strengthen member engagement, and help ensure that individuals receive the support and resources they need to prioritize their health and well-being.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me, both professionally and personally, center on helping others, education, and service. In my work, I genuinely care about my clients and am committed to ensuring they understand their insurance options and potential financial responsibilities, as many rely on guidance to make informed decisions. Outside of work, I extend that commitment through volunteer service as a relationship manager in a mentorship program, where I help connect young professionals with mentors who can support their career development. Whether assisting clients or mentoring the next generation, I find the greatest fulfillment in empowering others with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to succeed.
