Her Story

About Daizja

Daizja Walker serves in ministry through Millennials After God, which she has led since 2018, and runs a hair business selling extensions, wigs, clip-ins, and other beauty products for nine years. Inspired by a personal encounter with the Lord in 2017, she hosts monthly worship nights and events, sometimes twice a month, for young adults in Atlanta and surrounding areas where participants worship, learn about Jesus, and receive prayer for breakthroughs from anxiety, depression, drug addictions, and other struggles to find hope and identity. Her day-to-day involves planning and strategizing with her team for events and business growth, including market analysis. Walker, who completed high school, attributes her success to God and her faith, which has helped her maintain consistency over the years despite challenges. She identifies her main area of expertise as faith and overcoming obstacles, and she finds the most notable achievement in the impact of her ministry. Financial navigation for hosting free gatherings presents a key challenge, while opportunities include expanding reach to other states beyond Atlanta as more people seek to help others find Christ. Walker advises young women entering her fields to go for it, believe in themselves, see the bigger picture, pursue results, and recognize that their work is bigger than themselves.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Daizja

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say just God, honestly. My faith has been key in overcoming challenges and staying consistent over the years in both ministry and the hair business.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just to go for it, you know, don't discount yourself, but believe in yourself, and just see the bigger picture. And go after the results. And know that it is bigger than you, and I feel like that is motivation to keep going.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is financially navigating where to host gatherings at no charge. On the opportunity side, the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, so having more people with a heart to help others find Christ and expanding to other states beyond Atlanta.
