About Dani
Dani Dvorjak serves as Product Development Scientist Principal at Bayer Crop Science. She has worked in agriculture since 2004, starting in a small town in Brazil where she began in animal breeding before shifting to plant breeding. After moving to the United States in 2008, she worked in wheat breeding and held roles across regional and global teams in the US and Germany before returning to the US. Her current focus is on soybean trait strategy and transition for North America, where she leads teams in developing new products and pipelines that will reach growers in five to twenty years. Dvorjak earned her PhD from the University of Kentucky. Among her achievements are two Impact Awards received last year, an Alumnus Early Career Award from the University of Kentucky, and an award for creating a field book that became a global app implemented in seven countries and five languages. She is also active as a mentor to women and others entering the agriculture industry.
