Her Interview
Ten minutes with Daniela
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say resilience and never giving up. Throughout my 22-year career in marketing and now as a business owner in my third year, it's been that determination to keep pushing forward that has made the difference. Being a business owner has been the most rewarding experience for me, and also at the same time, the most stressful. But I've learned that success comes from staying resilient through the challenges and never giving up on your goals, no matter how difficult things get.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received was to always put value in my work and to never believe that there's anything I cannot do.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say, never believe that you’re not meant to pursue what truly feels right for your career. Trust your instincts, because when something genuinely aligns with you, that inner voice is often guiding you toward the path you’re meant to follow. Stay committed to it, and you’ll find the strength to persevere.
At the same time, if your gut is telling you that you’re unhappy where you are, listen to that too. More often than not, it’s a sign that it’s time to pivot, rediscover your direction, and find a path that fulfills you more fully.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges right now are the cost of materials and the cost of labor, because everything is going up. It's been challenging to navigate providing the best possible service while still being able to stay afloat as a business. The opportunity is that not a lot of people know us yet, and we are in a growth phase right now. We are hiring more team members, and we are ready to grow our business. There are a lot of people that haven't heard about us, and we would love to be able to get more recognition in our market. There's also an opportunity to help homeowners and residents around the market because there are a lot of roofing and construction companies that don't do what they say they're going to do when they're doing any type of restoration or repair, or they don't use the materials they said they were going to use. We see that a lot, so helping people understand the way that the construction business and the roofing business should be and providing a better product and better restoration for people in the market is a real opportunity for us.
