About Daniela

Daniela Pangallo is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, where she has focused on project acquisition, company expansions, business development, and M&A. She joined Nautilus in 2009 and advanced through roles with increasing responsibilities, primarily on the front end of the business while working for development companies and asset owners. Her career has spanned multiple technologies, beginning with wind and expanding to solar, biogas, biomass, and geothermal. Daniela earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Turin in Italy, completed an MBA at Politecnico of Turin, and participated in a certificate program through the GAP initiative at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. She previously held membership in the Women in Energy organization known as We Ride and contributes to the Create Pure Foundation, which supports longevity programs, health coaching for those undergoing treatments, and education on healthy eating for younger generations. She attributes her success to being brave and courageous while remaining genuine, authentic, curious, data-driven, generous, and transparent, and she values trustworthiness above all in both her professional and personal life.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being brave and having courage, being genuine and authentic. People recognize that. I'm curious and data-driven but at the same time very generous and transparent.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Believe in yourself and speak up for yourself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't limit yourself based on your own fears. Study, prove yourself, speak up always nicely and politely. Don't abandon who you are. You can find your space.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The industry was new with few women, international cross-market exposure required learning different cultures. Energy is becoming a strategic point for infrastructure and economic growth with technology bringing huge potential for industrial revolution in the sector.
