As the current Chief Marketing Officer at Popcornopolis, a Los Angeles-based gourmet popcorn manufacturer, Daniela continues to make significant impacts. Her strategic leadership recently culminated in the successful acquisition of Popcornopolis by Grupo Bimbo, a multi-billion dollar CPG powerhouse.
Her career highlights include orchestrating the monumental $2.9 billion sale of Nestle's Confections & Snacks division to Ferrero, the global giant behind beloved brands like Nutella, Kinder, and Tic Tac. At Nestle, she skillfully managed a $1.1 Billion Confections & Snacks division through a complex three-way integration between Nestle, Ferrara, and Ferrero. Her leadership of a half-billion-dollar Confections portfolio resulted in exceptional growth that outpaced category expectations. Perhaps most notably, she demonstrated her brand-building prowess by developing the Skinny Cow brand into a $100MM+ success story from the ground up.
Before joining Popcornopolis, Daniela served as the General Manager of Digital Growth Division at Blaze Pizza, where she also held the position of Head of Marketing. In this role, she helped advance the LeBron James-backed, all-natural pizza concept to new heights of success.
Her extensive expertise encompasses the CPG and Retail/Restaurant industries, with particular focus on natural foods and consumer products. She excels in people leadership, brand building and portfolio management, growth strategy development, and innovation pipeline creation.
