Ten minutes with Daniela
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Construction, especially, is very male-dominated... What I would say is... just Stand your ground, work hard, don't be afraid to speak up. And always stand firm, no matter what.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Construction in general is a very hectic lifestyle... there's a lot of activity all the time, a lot of subcontractors are blue-collar, so they don't really understand finance as much... So, it's a lot of babysitting sometimes, and over-explaining... Don't get too stressed out, don't take it too personally, don't let work affect your emotional state.
