About DANIELLE
I started my career right out of college in a trendy design studio in New York City, where I learned so much about design and animation. I had come from a background of really loving art and wanting to work in art, but I wanted a commercial job where I could build a career and also have a creative field. For more than the first half of my 26-year career, I was on the production side doing design, animation, and visual effects, really making everything in advertising. Our clients were advertising agencies, so throughout the years I just started learning how to make everything. Now I'm at The Community, an advertising agency in Miami, where I'm a Senior Vice President, Executive Producer. We really focus on the new mainstream, not necessarily a traditional multicultural agency, but a very Hispanic-first approach, reflecting the new population of the United States and speaking to the new mainstream. We're part of Publicis, a larger holding company, and my main brand is Verizon. My role involves working across the entire life cycle of projects, from creative development with creative directors, writers, and art directors, to pitching directors, overseeing live-action shoots, casting, editorial, and post-production. I might be heavily involved in an edit while simultaneously in development on a second project. After 21 years in New York City, I achieved my goal of coming back to Miami to work for a boutique agency in South Florida, where I'm from, and it's the first time I've ever really felt like I want to be exactly where I am.
