What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the mentorship I have received throughout my career, especially from clinical pharmacists and IT mentors who guided me along the way. I’ve also been able to leverage my transferable pharmacy technician experience and apply it to IT product ownership. My children are a major driving force in my life and motivate me to continue growing and achieving more.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is to go for it because the opportunities are endless. I’ve learned that growth comes from stepping into new challenges, but also from setting boundaries so I can focus and not become overwhelmed. Learning to balance opportunity with discipline has been key to my development.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to go for it and not hold themselves back. There are so many opportunities in this field, especially at the intersection of pharmacy and technology. I would also encourage them to continuously learn, stay open to growth, and make sure they set healthy boundaries so they can sustain their success long-term.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity in my field is the transition from manual pharmacy processes to automation and semi-automation. This shift is creating new roles that blend pharmacy operations with IT product management. It is allowing professionals like myself to expand into technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency and patient care.
