Her Story
About Danielle
Danielle CARRERA is the CEO and founder of Carrera Telehealth and Wellness, where she provides a VIP medical concierge service focused on functional medicine, regenerative medicine, and peptides. With 28 years of experience in healthcare and 7 years leading her current practice, she transitioned from traditional medicine after recognizing its limitations during the COVID-19 crisis and her own personal health challenges. She earned her DNP, a doctorate in nursing practice, and a degree in psychology from the University of South Florida, and she is an autonomous APRN licensed in 14 states. Her passion for patient advocacy stems from her time as a national provider speaker for Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals on GLP-1 peptides and her subsequent work in regenerative approaches. She is also the co-founder of Above Genetics, focusing on epigenetics, and the founder of the Bridge to Better Foundation, a non-profit supporting non-traditional students. CARRERA attributes her success to her lived experience as both a provider and a patient, which fueled her commitment to empowering individuals to become CEOs of their own health through education and personalized care.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I wholeheartedly believe in it. When you have a passion, no matter what it is. I had to live it. I saw what was going on in the healthcare system and then I became the patient myself. It changes your thought process and your desire to actually make a difference.
