Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my genuine passion for what I do. Loving my work drives me to give my best, stay motivated, and continuously grow in my career. Also I attribute my success to a strong foundation of relationship-building, both internally and externally. I believe meaningful progress happens when trust, communication, and collaboration are prioritized. Internally, I focus on building partnerships across teams by listening, aligning goals, and creating space for shared success. Externally, I value authentic relationships with stakeholders and partners, grounded in transparency and mutual respect. These connections allow me to drive results, navigate challenges effectively, and create long-term value rather than short-term wins.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

True confidence comes from self-trust.

I’ve learned that confidence doesn’t come from knowing everything upfront, but from trusting my ability to learn, adapt, and solve problems as they arise.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women pursuing a career in procurement and supply chain is to stay the course—even when the work feels complex or the room feels unfamiliar. This field rewards persistence, curiosity, and credibility built over time. Learn the fundamentals deeply, ask questions without hesitation, and don’t underestimate the power of your voice at the table. Advocate for yourself, seek mentors and sponsors early, and remember that confidence comes from experience. There will be moments where you feel challenged or overlooked, but staying committed, continuing to learn, and trusting your growth will set you apart in the long run.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing

Procurement is now expected to manage not just cost and delivery, but also environmental impact, social responsibility, and compliance with ESG requirements.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, accountability, growth, and empathy. Integrity guides how I make decisions and show up—even when no one is watching. Accountability keeps me reliable and aligned with my commitments. I value growth because learning and self-awareness allow me to evolve personally and professionally. And empathy is what grounds everything—it shapes how I lead, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships while still maintaining healthy boundaries.
