Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to following my gut, trusting my heart, and staying close to my “why”—supporting mothers who often feel unseen. I also credit persistence, creativity, and courage for stepping into leadership roles, building Baby and Me from the ground up, and creating programs that genuinely support working and self-employed mothers.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to learn from leaders who model building meaningful work from lived experience and to let my own journey as a working mother guide and inspire my path.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women to trust their instincts, start before they feel fully ready, and focus on creating impact with the resources they have, staying open to unconventional paths while keeping the community’s needs at the center.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field are securing consistent nonprofit funding to meet essential needs for mothers, while the greatest opportunities lie in normalizing postpartum support, influencing policy on paid leave, and creating spaces—both through Baby and Me and dance fitness—for women to heal, move, and reconnect.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are empathy, authenticity, and service—I strive to support mothers with dignity and respect while creating community and spaces where they can truly thrive. In my personal life, I value creativity, growth, and showing up with honesty and heart.
