Her Interview
Ten minutes with Danielle
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received came from my mentor, Victor M., who taught me that there will always be new opportunities ahead. His guidance reminded me not to become overly focused on any single setback and to keep moving forward without sweating the small stuff.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to develop confidence in their abilities and take ownership of their personal and professional growth. Learning to advocate for yourself, seek out knowledge, and become self-reliant will help you navigate challenges and create opportunities throughout your career.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges are everyone thinks AI can do what we do. People are special. We love, we cry, we have empathy, and most importantly, we learn new things. AI cannot do that; it can only replicate what it's told to based off of previous situations not new ones.
The biggest opportunities I believe is the ability to connect with others all over the world and it is finally understood that love and inspiration can come from the most unlikely places. The relationships we form now help shape the future.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, kindness, and service to others. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion, and I am committed to giving back to my community in meaningful ways while supporting those around me.
