Her Story
About Danielle
I have a 4-year degree in advertising and public relations because I had a passion for advertising and working on social media and working with different brands. I'm somebody who has ADHD and I like to jump around in different fields. I got involved with Her Camp Media where I was able to work with brands like Clinique, Valentino, Prada, and L'Oreal, doing user-generated content while in school. I really started from nothing - I would sit in bed at night doing research on my own, join different master classes, go on different platforms online and put up my resume or portfolio, and search LinkedIn for all different types of classes I could be taking. I did a lot of certifications on Canva, completed a social media simternship, and have my digital advertising certification. I've done internships as a social media intern with Sweetie High Media based in California, did a campaign for Live Golf Miami where I got to work with a lot of big influencers doing outreach, and then did another internship focusing more on filming and content planning. I loved all the different sides of social media, so I took all of that and built it into my own agency. It was more so everything that I wanted to be in one - I'm not limiting myself, I don't want to niche down, I'm kind of niched out.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I really just focus on my goals. I know what I want, I know I can put in the work to get there. I wake up super, super early and I'm on it - organizing, going through my emails for both businesses, organizing my day. I separate my client calls and I make sure that each client I'm talking to, I'm giving them my full attention, because I do have a lot of things going on. I always try to plan my day very back-to-back-to-back, so I'm a very scheduled person. I'm constantly behind the scenes, communicating with everybody on the thing that keeps it going. I really started from nothing - I would sit in bed at night doing research on my own, join different master classes, go on different platforms online and put up my resume or portfolio, and search LinkedIn for all different types of classes I could be taking.
