About Danielle

Danielle Martinez leads go-to-market strategy and execution for the federal 5G portfolio at Dell Technologies. She has been with the company for five years, previously working within the telecom systems business unit. Martinez earned a civil engineering degree from the United States Military Academy and served five years as an engineering officer in the Army before transitioning to civilian roles at Merck Pharmaceuticals in North Carolina and Booz Allen. She completed her MBA at Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2024. Martinez is a finalist for Miss Veteran America 2026 and volunteers with Final Salute Inc to raise funds and awareness to end homelessness among women veterans and their children through initiatives such as 5K charity races and clothing drives. She is based in Colonia, New Jersey.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Getting degrees and certifications beyond a bachelor's, like MBAs, masters, or PMP, shows you want to further yourself intellectually and that companies value continuous learning. Always be learning.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Network, because sometimes it's not what you know, it's who you know. Be yourself, show up authentically, and set a culture that allows others to do the same.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Communication and honesty are most important, as open and truthful communication makes anything possible in relationships whether personal or professional.
