About Danielle

Danielle Miles serves as a retail manager at Foot Locker in Jacksonville, Florida. She began her career there as a part-time associate in October 2020 while attending college and transitioned to a full-time management role in 2024. Her daily responsibilities include setting sales and conversion metrics, leading a team of 20, managing inventory and back stock, and supporting visual merchandising. Miles earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics with minors in psychology, exercise science, and health science. She has received Team Member of the Quarter honors twice, was nominated for Team Member of the Year, and contributed to her store winning Team of the Quarter for three consecutive quarters, leading to Team of the Year recognition. She is actively working toward her Series 65 license to advance into the company's finance department and holds a public health certification as well as a certificate of teaching in mathematics in progress. Outside her role, Miles participates in the Advocates of Women Empowerment group, focusing on mentorship and events for women and adolescents.

Don't look back on what you did yesterday because tomorrow's a new day. Don't dwell on the past. Keep swimming.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Working to move higher in the company to finance department; company size makes positions scarce and may require moving states; pursuing Series 65 to boost chances.
