Her Story

About Danielle

Danielle Richardson currently works in finance at JP Morgan, having recently transitioned from roles in software development and marketing. Her areas of specialization include creating content, handling technical matters, and organizing projects. She earned her MBA from NDA University in 2015 and obtained a software development certification from Flatiron School. She is currently working toward her PMP certification. Richardson attributes her success to her faith and trusting in herself. She values communication, transparency, vulnerability, honest feedback, and constructive criticism in both her professional and personal life. Among the challenges she identifies in her field is imposter syndrome, which she overcomes by recognizing that if chosen for a role, it is for a good reason, and by trusting herself. She advises young women entering the industry that it is acceptable to transition and try new things, and to enjoy the journey of life even if they do not have everything figured out.
