Her Interview

Ten minutes with Danielle

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, being able to connect with the right people, and never giving up. Even when I had no's in my life, I never said no, I will keep going, my moment will come.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I received was to always teach yourself and go to every interview opportunity even if you're not unhappy in your current role. Go there to listen and experience the opportunity because you may be surprised with the outcome. My MVP gave me this advice like 20 years ago.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Go network with other women who can help you navigate. Aerospace is a very male-dominated environment. Don't be afraid of that. Position yourself and try to connect with other women. Do a lot of hard work, try to learn from them. I love mentoring young people.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Aerospace is growing really fast because travel is more accessible. It's an area that needs a lot of expertise like engineering and mechanicals, and I'm seeing more and more ladies. The main opportunity is growth especially in the U.S. in technology and business areas. As a challenge, supply chain, we rely on components that are not fully recovered.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Transparency is non-negotiable, always telling the truth even if it's going to hurt. Act with good kindness and be grateful always.
