Her Interview

Ten minutes with Danielle

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to God. He has been with me every step of the way, guiding me through challenges as a single mother raising five children while building my career in accounting. I couldn't have done it alone, and I strive to go with the flow of whatever He leads me to.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself. It can be hard at times, but it is very rewarding. Overcoming the hardships of the coursework gives you a sense of accomplishment. Accounting is such a wide variety of topics, but it's not as hard as it seems, and the outcome will be worth it.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and honesty are everything to me, along with a good moral compass. I believe the Lord will work things out if you do the right thing, and I strive to be humble because we accomplish things with the Lord's help, not on our own.
