Her Interview

Ten minutes with Danielle

01What do you attribute your success to?

My family always being there to fall back on. They provide crucial support especially when hard days come along and help me get through them.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Say yes to every opportunity that you get to learn and grow. Even if you're scared and you think you can't do it, and it challenges you, say yes. And it can only help you move your career along and grow and get closer to your future goals.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Know your limits. Say yes to everything that you absolutely can, but know your limits and be able to say no. Which is kind of contradictory, but they go together a little bit. You gotta go as far as you can. Once you reach your limit, you gotta be able to say no.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Understanding capacity and how much I can take on while being able to perform the best that I can, while figuring out where I need to ask for help without overstretching. Just figuring out capacity in each role.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

People. I love creating relationships and being able to reach out to people when I'm facing a challenge to see how they've faced it or if they can help me, just building relationships. I also work with customers which is really fun.
