I attribute my success to the strong foundation and unwavering support of my family, especially my parents. My father and mother have always encouraged me to pursue my goals with confidence, even when my ideas or ambitions felt uncertain or challenging. Their belief in me has given me the resilience to take risks, stay committed during difficult moments, and continue pushing forward in both my personal and professional growth.

The best career advice I’ve received is to pursue work that aligns with my passions and values, because genuine interest and purpose are essential to long-term success and fulfillment. When you choose a path that resonates with what truly motivates you, you are more likely to stay engaged, resilient, and committed even through challenges. This perspective has helped me understand that while skills can be developed over time, maintaining enthusiasm and a sense of purpose is what ultimately sustains a meaningful and successful career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industrial and logistics sector to remain confident in their abilities and not be discouraged by external perceptions or outdated assumptions about gender roles in the industry. Throughout my experience, I have encountered comments and biases, but I have learned to set them aside and stay focused on my goals and performance. Success in this field comes from competence, consistency, and professionalism, and I believe the best way to break barriers is to demonstrate capability through results and dedication.

Family is the most important value in both my personal and professional life. Even though they may be far away, they remain my strongest source of love, support, and encouragement. Government supply chains are unique. They involve strict compliance requirements, multiple stakeholders, international suppliers, transportation constraints, and demanding delivery deadlines. Even a minor documentation error or packaging issue can delay critical shipments and increase costs for both contractors and government agencies.
Accurate Cost Estimation
One lesson that is often underestimated is the importance of accurate cost estimation. Even relatively small errors in shipping costs or logistics calculations can create a chain reaction throughout the procurement process. A revised freight estimate may require contract modifications, additional internal approvals, or budget reviews, all of which can delay procurement timelines.
In some situations, if the cost difference is significant enough, organizations may need to reevaluate suppliers to remain within their allocated budgets.
