Darby Bowen Baumberger

She is an educational leadership and student support professional with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, school administration, STEM programming, and student development. She currently serves as Dean of Students/Assistant Principal at Akron Public Schools, where she supports school leadership, student success, and instructional improvement. Her background includes 22 years as a teacher across multiple grade levels, leadership roles in reading, technology, tutoring, and site improvement initiatives, and STEM program leadership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame. She has also been recognized as a Teacher of the Year and an American Red Cross Act of Courage Award recipient.
