Darcee Bramlette
Darcee Bramlette is a seasoned commercial lines broker and wholesale producer at Novatae Risk Group, where she specializes in excess and surplus lines insurance for complex, hard-to-place risks, including apartments, mixed-use properties, and contractor accounts. Since joining Novatae in September 2024, she has been building her book of business, quoting and binding high-volume submissions, and providing responsive, transparent support to retail agents navigating challenging risks. Her professional approach emphasizes integrity, kindness, and equity, and she credits resilience and a positive mindset as key drivers of her success.
Darcee began her insurance career in 2020 and previously owned and operated her own Farmers Insurance agency for four years. Before entering the insurance industry, she gained extensive experience in automotive sales and finance, rising to second-in-command at a Volkswagen dealership and earning regional recognition for her sales performance. This background gave her a retail perspective that she brings to wholesale insurance, helping agents move difficult submissions forward with practical solutions and clear communication.
Darcee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from Golden Gate University, graduating magna cum laude. Outside of work, she enjoys roller skating, kayaking, rescuing dogs, and pottery, all hobbies that reflect her patience and problem-solving skills. Known among colleagues as a proud “insurance nerd,” she thrives on tackling risks that don’t fit the box and mentoring others navigating the complexities of the industry.

I attribute my success to approaching every challenge with resilience and a positive mindset, staying committed to integrity and transparency, and supporting others—especially women—while treating setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: don’t overthink how to do it—just get out there and do it.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: get out and do it. Choose work that fits how you like to spend your days, match roles to your personality, seek out mentors, and remember that careers have seasons and can change over time.
