I attribute my success to being on time, enjoying being around the people, and keeping busy. I didn't miss one day of work for the first 15 years, which shows my punctuality and dedication.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice is to acknowledge customers as soon as they walk in the store, make them feel welcome, and show them where something is instead of just telling them where it is.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be punctual, be accountable, treat people with respect, help them when they need it, be there, care, show compassion and empathy.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges were dealing with customers that were not happy that their prescriptions aren't ready, and going out into the field trying to find businesses that would open up a flu clinic for us. You can't make everybody happy.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Making sure everybody's happy and comfortable, being trustworthy, accountable, having integrity, and punctuality.
