Darcy Lu

I've been practicing in my field for about 5 years now, working as a contractor for the past one to two years. My journey began in game design, where I was majoring in that field and exploring how to make games feel intuitive and immersive. What really interested me about game design was making players feel completely immersed in the experience. As I developed professionally, I realized that the core of what I was passionate about was user-centered experiences and helping people. The nature of who I am is really about helping people solve their problems or making things easier for them. This insight led me to pivot from game design to become a UX designer, which is my role as a product designer today. My focus is on helping users get used to products and creating meaningful experiences that truly serve their needs.
