Ten minutes with Darine
01What do you attribute your success to?
My family and parents have been the biggest factor. They always pushed me to be better than them and gave me the tools to succeed. Though it felt like pressure at times, it helped me excel and overcome imposter syndrome. They are very proud of me now, which boosts my confidence.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Go for what you want because you're going to be working for the rest of your life so might as well do something you want to do. Don't settle for less. Network your butt off, especially early in your career. Stay positive, apply yourself, and work hard because it only takes one yes.
