About Darya
She is a mental health counseling, disaster response, clinical leadership, and volunteer services professional with experience in disaster mental health, shelter management, recovery planning, public affairs, crisis response, clinical supervision, and wellness advocacy. She currently serves in multiple American Red Cross disaster leadership and instructor roles while also working with Urban Recovery as Assistant Clinical Director and Mental Health Therapist. Her background includes service with Soldiers’ Angels, Give an Hour, and NYU Steinhardt, supported by graduate studies in mental health counseling, emergency management, and homeland security.
