Her Story

About DeAnna

I've had quite the background and done quite a few different things - I'm sort of a jack-of-all-trades. Before entering this field, I was a stay-at-home mom for about 4 years, then started working at a title company doing title work for trucking companies and business admin work. I really enjoy the coaching and customer service process, which is where I've grown myself. I started at BMW, Ducati Motorcycles of Richfield as a salesperson and grew myself into a management role managing our sales team and finance team over 2 years. Then I worked as a 911 dispatcher, growing my skills and knowledge working with bigger teams. After that, I joined Adrenaline Engineering, a very small two-person suspension company operation, where I was able to help them scale their business and their customer interactions and experience through the whole life cycle over about 2 years. Now I'm at TurboTims Anything Automotive for about 9 months, where I hit the ground running managing a team of 9 advisors across 4 shops in the Twin Cities Minneapolis-St. Paul area. My main goal is to document all our customer touchpoints and communications, and I coach our advising team on great customer service and experience. In the morning, I check appointment thresholds for each shop, then I create trainings for our advising team on customer communications and life cycle. I do a lot of role play with our advising team and coaching to get them on the right track for customer communications. I also handle all our automated texting and customer talk tracks for phone calls, conduct daily inbound and outbound call audits, and track repair order auditing for pricing and advisor compliance.

Ten minutes with DeAnna

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to continued self-growth and constantly learning things every day in my job and from the people around me. I would say just how much I've been able to grow myself as a person because of the field that I've chosen. The personal self-growth is a big area for me - I want to continue to achieve more and more for myself and build something great.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

What I enjoy most is seeing the satisfaction in people - my team getting better and better and more confident in their abilities and in themselves, and then watching that translate into the business gaining profit because of it. Growing the team at TurboTims both financially and individually as people is what matters most to me. I think the work I'm doing with coaching has grown everyone, personally and professionally.
