Debbie DeLuca
Debbie DeLuca’s career in financial services spans over three decades, inspired by her mother, who dedicated 27 years to Merrill Lynch and instilled in her the values of commitment and longevity. Debbie began her journey with a summer internship at Merrill Lynch at just 18 and gained early experience at firms like Charles Schwab and Daiwa Securities, exploring both back-office operations and the trading floor. After a brief detour into retail, she found her true calling at Royal Alliance, where she moved from processing roles into recruiting financial professionals—a path that laid the foundation for her long-term career in sales enablement and technology. Over the past 22 years at Osaic Wealth, Debbie has evolved into a seasoned Sales Enablement Manager, supporting a sales team of over 20 people. She manages the team’s tech stack, implements new tools, and builds digital microsites and sales rooms powered by Highspot, providing actionable analytics to enhance recruiting and engagement. Her work is defined by continuous learning, adaptability, and a focus on relationships, ensuring that every client, colleague, and financial professional she works with receives consistent care and support. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Debbie is deeply committed to community and industry involvement. She serves on Osaic’s Disaster Relief Committee, supports the Women Forward Community, and volunteers as a judge for SIFMA’s InvestWrite program. Recognized multiple times for her impact—including the Values Visionary Award and numerous Highspot honors—Debbie combines technical expertise, leadership, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed, making her a respected mentor, advocate, and culture carrier within her organization and the broader financial services industry.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to relationships. People don't realize how important relationships are. A lot of my clients that I work with, they know me for the past 22 years, and we just have this understanding that when I'm taking care of them, I'm gonna get it done for them. That's why they come to me, because they know I'm gonna take care of it. And that's a big deal for me. Even the people that I work with, I know their families, I know their children, now I know their grandchildren, so it's all about the relationship. Because why would you want to work with somebody that you don't like? My most notable professional achievement was when my mom, who worked for one of my branch offices, came with me to our national education conference about 15 years ago. The first night, she said to me, 'You know, I'm really proud of you. You really made a name for yourself.' That was enough for me, especially coming from a woman, a single mother, that worked 6 days a week to put me through school. If I died that night, I would have died happy.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My biggest challenge is that I'm a get stuff done kind of person, and when I can't get stuff done, it causes me anxiety. I need people that are like, okay, we're doing this, let's make the decision and get it done. That's my biggest challenge. I'm the person, if you want to get it done, I'm gonna get it done. I don't want to just talk about it, I want to know what action we can take and be about it.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value to me is continuous learning and growth. I feel like if you're not learning, you're not growing. I consistently learn and take certifications, whether it's Six Sigma, HubSpot certifications for sales enablement, or now starting to get into AI. I know friends of mine who don't want to learn, they just want to go and do the job and go home because they have families and children and all that stuff, but that's just not me. I also value family time and spending time with loved ones. I love the beach, which is my happy place, and on Sundays I'll get my little cooler, get my beach chair, and just go to the beach for a couple hours. I love spending time with family and doing things with them, and I enjoy cooking for the people I care about.
