About Debbie
She is a dedicated nonprofit leader and STEM education advocate with over 15 years of experience in program leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement, currently serving as Executive Director of the Achievement Institute for STEM Scholars (AISS), where she oversees operations, programs, financial plans, and strategic initiatives to support underrepresented students in pursuing STEM careers. She also serves as a Board Member and Mentor for Career Beginnings Mentoring Program, helping high school students transition into higher education and vocations. Her career includes serving as Program Associate at Science@OC, Driving Dreams STEM Program Specialist at KidWorks, and as a Client Program Manager at Ingram Micro for 16 years. She holds an MBA and an MA in Information Technology Management from Webster University. She is recognized as a passionate, strategic, and results-driven leader who is deeply committed to expanding access to STEM education, mentoring young people, and building strong community partnerships to create lasting social impact.
