About Debbie

Debbie L. Young is a retired federal Human Resources executive with more than three decades of combined military and government service, and an accomplished entrepreneur serving as the Business Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Young Estate Services LLC. In her current role, she leads a growing organization specializing in mobile notary services, loan signings, I-9 identity verification, and real estate and personal notarizations. As both business owner and CEO, she continues to expand the company’s services while maintaining a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-focused excellence.

Debbie began her career in federal service after completing 13 years of honorable military service as a Sergeant, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and human resources operations. She went on to hold senior HR leadership roles with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Her positions included HR Specialist Supervisor, Chief of Retirement and Benefits, Acting Deputy, and Administrative Officer for Veterans’ Mental Health Services. In these roles, she led complex personnel operations, developed and improved HR processes, interpreted federal regulations, and responded to congressional inquiries, while also mentoring and supporting emerging leaders particularly women in government service.

Following her extensive federal career, Debbie transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded Young Estate Services LLC, where she serves as Business Owner and CEO. Her leadership has helped establish the company as a trusted provider in the real estate and professional services industry, known for reliability, accuracy, and exceptional client service. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to service, mentorship, and community impact. Today, she continues to grow her business while dedicating her time to mentoring others and sharing her decades of experience. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Anything is achievable when you set a goal and refuse to give up. I would tell young women entering this field to stay focused, stay persistent, and believe in their ability to succeed, even when challenges arise. Life will present obstacles along the way, but each one is an opportunity to grow stronger and more determined. Keep pushing forward, stay resilient, and never allow setbacks to define your path. If you stay committed and keep moving, you will reach your goals don’t give up.
