With a background as a certified Texas educator and extensive experience in IT auditing and governance, Dr. Benson combines technical expertise with her passion for education to create meaningful programs for families, faith-based organizations, and small businesses.

As the founder of Royalty PMC, Dr. Benson is an accomplished author and publisher of children’s books and family devotionals, including Simply Divine Adventures, The Big Adventures of Baby One, and My Lifetime with Jesus. She is currently developing skill builder toolkits, a book on cybersecurity awareness, and her autobiography, further extending her mission to empower families and young learners. Her work emphasizes practical solutions, faith-driven principles, and impact-oriented outcomes, reflecting her dedication to creating resources that support holistic growth.

I attribute my success to God’s favor, my curiosity, and my ability to learn quickly. The opportunities afforded by having an MBA and early training as a staff IT auditor also played a crucial role in shaping my career.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Make the work your own and focus on impact. Start from a heart of love and kindness, and prioritize the mission and helping others over money and recognition.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities is addressing cybersecurity around AI and expanding cybersecurity awareness for parents, faith-based organizations, and small businesses. I am actively brushing up my AI audit skills and developing awareness programs in this space.

My core values include spiritual faith, kindness combined with wisdom, perseverance and grit, grace, and maintaining high self-esteem.
