Ten minutes with Deborah
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Patience. A schedule is difficult, but once you figure out the pieces you would just go from there. You could put a whole year together in the blink of an eye and make adjustments along your way.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Staffing. Getting people in the door to come to work, and just finding people in general. Not many people interview anymore.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value my family, and being good at work. If I could bring a smile to somebody's face in that place, I love it. I go to their room and see them every single day because they're bedridden.
