Debra ArmelinCarey

Debra ArmelinCarey serves as Principal Program Manager for Wander Staffing, a federal government contractor based in Austin, Texas. In this role, she manages contracts that provide medical and clerical staff to facilities operated by all branches of the military. ArmelinCarey entered the field of federal government contracting in 2001, beginning as a file clerk and advancing through positions at three companies, including 14 years at one and 10 years at another, before being promoted from program manager to contracts manager and ultimately to her current title. She earned her high school diploma in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1984 and later completed an associate's degree in medical assisting and business administration at a technical school, though her career path shifted into contracting. Outside of work, she participates in committees at her church and maintains a hybrid schedule, working in the Austin office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
