Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the resilience I’ve built through overcoming many hardships—each challenge taught me to pick myself up and keep moving forward. I'm also incredibly grateful to Robert Kennedy, an engineer I had the privilege to work with, who not only supported my professional growth but also encouraged me to fully utilize and develop my engineering skills. His mentorship played a key role in shaping the trajectory of my career.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that it takes strength, resilience, and determination—but you absolutely belong here. Invest in your education, build your skills, and don’t be afraid to take up space. With the right knowledge and confidence, you will succeed and make a meaningful impact.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose—principles that were deeply reinforced during my four years of service in the U.S. Army. I believe in staying active and balanced, which is why I enjoy outdoor activities like exercising and trap shooting. Being outdoors keeps me grounded, focused, and ready to take on any challenge, both professionally and personally.
